Ambroxan has an ambergris dry woody, root-like odour used in animallic, mens, Chypre and Oriental perfumes as a fixative. Note it is a white powdered solid so we also offer as a 10% dilution in DPG or easier handling.

Cetalox has a fine dry waxy ambergris note used in animallic, mens, chypre and oriental perfumes and as an all round fixative. When compared to Ambrox Super, Ambrofix and Ambroxan, Cetalox has a creamier finer character less woody making it generally more suitable with florals but still very versatile. Think white leather (Cetalox) vs. beige coloured leather (Ambrox Super, Ambrofix or Ambroxan)
